DIY Rock Birds On A Branch

If you live in Monroe, WA, you probably have hear about rock painting and how people leave their painted rocks in public places for other people to find. It's such a fun way to spread creativity and make someone smile. You may want to join the MONROEROCKS Facebook Group to post the rocks you create and the ones you find.

But in today's rock project, we took rock painting to a new level! We found small rocks and painted them as little blue birdies!

While they were drying, we cut out a tree branch out of brown paper using our free-to-use Die Cut Machine. We have 100s of dies for you to use with our machines - it's free when you use them to cut materials purchased in our store. If you're not familiar with our Die-Cut Machine Center, watch this video for a small glimpse on how to use this free service. CLICK HERE.  Glue your cut-out branch to your plaque using double-sided tape or Mod Podge.

Then glue the rocks (birds) to your plaque placing them in random areas on your branch. Use a strong glue like E6000 to make sure they don't fall off. Glue a small feather to each bird to create the "tail". Leave the plaque flat for at least a day to make sure your birds are glued solid.
