DIY Christmas Pallet Decorations

The pallet decorations are the most popular DIY projects in our store right now! Wonder why? They are so easy to make! Scroll down for some simple ideas that you can make in a matter of minutes.

For the pallet idea shown above, you would simply cover the front boards with paper of your choice using Mod Podge or double-sided tape. In this case we used the "Border Strips" paper from Carta Bella's "A Very Merry Christmas" paper collection. Isn't it just adorable!  You can also attach one of our metal sheets on the pallet using E6000 glue. (you will want to cover it first with paper of your choice using Mod Podge). Decorate with vinyl words. Add magnets on the back of our wood snowflakes and place on your metal board. That's it!

As you can see, we have a huge selection of pallet boards in different sizes. Now until Nov. 19, 2017, they are on sale so it's a great time to stock up!  SALE $4.97-$16.88 (Reg. $9.99 - $29.99) View our entire sale here for more opportunities to save!

The "Holiday House Rules" pallet project below is so easy to make! It will only take minutes to get your sign on the wall! Simply apply the "House Rules" self-adhesive vinyl quote to the pallet. Screw in a couple of hooks, and that's it! If you've never applied vinyl before, you may want to watch this simple video tutorial with Hannah: https://youtu.be/VrGfmkt3xY4

For this next pallet decoration, we glued the paper "Fa La La" by BoBunny on the pallet. Then added a frame that we attached to the pallet using E2000 glue. And finally, peel and stick the self-adhesive vinyl quote to the center of the frame. This was easy, wasn't it!

We love this next one for its simplicity - but such a great way to hang your Christmas cards! Just add the "Merry Mail" vinyl words to the top of the board. Wrap a burlap ribbon in four places around your board. Make sure to glue the ends securely to the back so it doesn't slide down. (we used E6000 glue). Finally all you have to do is place the mini clothespins on the ribbon where you'll hang your Christmas cards.

The kids will love this "Countdown to Christmas" calendar pallet! Let them help you apply the self-adhesive vinyl numbers to your board (they come in a kit) . Follow our model for placement. Use push pins as hooks to hang your circle that you'll make with a piece of pipe cleaner or ribbon with a metal wire.

We hope you'll have fun making your new Christmas pallet decorations!
